The weight of IQ is the primary influence to achieve professional titles and educational degrees. Still, personal interaction and analysis of different situations require emotional intelligence because the control of emotions is the key to working in favour of any professional.
Know the difference between EQ and IQ
We must merge EQ and IQ to increase the success of the performance of functions to work on time in a team to achieve a common goal because emotional intelligence allows the exercise of self-control; however, the formation of interpersonal relationships is much more fluid and subjective to situations.
Emotional skills are acquired through experience but can also be enhanced through training, communication, and personal development techniques. The essential thing is that EQ facilitates identifying feelings to change them in time for more positive emotions and to better analyze and respond to situations.
On the other hand, IQ focuses on the ability to analyze situations under a more objective vision. It arises as a cognitive response marked by IQ, combined with EQ to regulate the expression and demonstration of feelings and emotions.
We may note that behavioural guidance is a crucial skill to demonstrate and implement IQ. Both depend on the situation to develop better self-control over the environment and all that may arise; still, emotional intelligence can be worked on and reinforced over time.
